FOFA (Formula One™ Fans Association) was formed on 9th August 2009 by a group of dedicated enthusiasts in order to promote the interests of Formula 1™ Fans. Our organisation was formally registered in Germany on December 18th 2009.
Our intention is to achieve recognition from the key parties of Formula 1™ (FIA, FOTA and FOM) as the coordinated voice of the fans - the piece of the puzzle which has been sadly missing up to this point in time.
In order to achieve this we need to increase public awareness of our activities and work to establish the necessary recognition as a serious organisation with the FIA, FOM and FOTA.
As stated in our constitution we intend to do this by using this website which will include high-standard reporting from various events we attend each year.
Another major section of our activity this year will concentrate on establishing relationships with the major players in F1™ such as the FIA, FOM, FOTA and the teams.
Apart from the activities mentioned above we intend to promote interest in, and support for our organisation by travelling to events and meeting with fans on site.
